This exclusive 12-day honeymoon combines the serenity of a pristine African safari with the allure of Zanzibar’s idyllic beaches. Tour Plan
After arriving in Dar es Salaam, you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to the Selous Game Reserve, one of the largest and most untouched safari destinations in Africa. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to The Selous Serena Camp, your home for the next four nights. In the afternoon, enjoy a shared game drive in this unspoiled wilderness.
Distance & Time: Dar es Salaam Airport to Selous Game Reserve (~230 km, 1 hour flight)
Overnight: The Selous Serena Camp (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast - DBB)
Over the next three days, immerse yourself in the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife of Selous. Morning and afternoon shared game drives will offer you the chance to spot the Big Five and other iconic species in this remote haven. Experience the thrill of tracking wildlife across vast savannahs, rivers, and woodlands.
Overnight: The Selous Serena Camp (Lunch, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast - LDBB)
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning before having lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, take a transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight via Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar, where the crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches await. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Matemwe Lodge, a secluded beachfront resort.
Distance & Time: Selous Game Reserve to Zanzibar (~1 hour flight, 1 hour transfer)
Overnight: Matemwe Lodge, Zanzibar (Lunch, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast - LDBB)
The next six days are at your leisure in Zanzibar. Enjoy the tranquility of Matemwe Lodge, relax by the beach, or explore the surrounding areas with optional excursions such as diving, snorkeling, and visiting Stone Town. The lodge offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and adventure.
Overnight: Matemwe Lodge, Zanzibar (LDBB)
After a final breakfast at the lodge, spend the day at leisure, depending on your departure time. You will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam, where you will connect to your homeward bound flight.
Distance & Time: Matemwe Lodge to Zanzibar Airport (~50 km, 1 hour transfer)
