Day 1 Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Hatari Lodge. After settling in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, immersing yourself in the lodge's serene surroundings. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Distance & Time: Kilimanjaro Airport to Hatari Lodge (~50 km, 1 hour)

Day 2 Arusha

After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a full day of exploration in Arusha National Park, including visits to the picturesque Momella Lake and the scenic Ngurdoto Crater. Experience the park’s lush forests and diverse wildlife. Return to Hatari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Lake Manyara National Park

Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the luxurious Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions and rich birdlife.

Distance & Time: Hatari Lodge to Lake Manyara National Park (~130 km, 2.5 hours)

Day 4 Lake Manyara National Park

Spend a full day at Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives. The park's varied landscape, from acacia woodlands to the soda lake, promises diverse wildlife sightings and stunning views.

Distance & Time: Around the park (~50 km per day, 1 hour)

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater

After your final game drive in Lake Manyara, you will head to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the luxurious Crater Lodge, followed by an afternoon of leisure, taking in the spectacular views of the crater’s rim.

Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, encountering a wealth of wildlife within this UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to Crater Lodge for lunch and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 7 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel to the airstrip for a flight to the private Grumeti Reserve, bordering the Western Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Sabora Camp or Kleins Camp, where you'll enjoy a game drive and settle in for the evening.

Distance & Time: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti Airstrip (~150 km, 3 hours drive)

Day 8 and Day 9 Serengeti National Park

Over the next two days, embark on morning and afternoon game drives, exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains, home to the Great Migration and an abundance of wildlife. Experience the thrill of watching predators in action or marveling at the iconic herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 10 Selous Game Reserve

After breakfast, fly to Selous Game Reserve, one of Africa’s largest and most unspoiled reserves. Upon arrival at Sand Rivers Lodge, enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in this pristine wilderness.

Distance & Time: Serengeti to Selous (~200 km, 1.5 hours flight)

Day 11 and Day 12 Selous Game Reserve

Spend two full days in the Selous, exploring the reserve’s diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. Morning and afternoon game drives offer opportunities to see elephants, lions, and a variety of bird species, while boat safaris along the Rufiji River provide a unique perspective of the reserve.

Day 13 Departure from Dar Es Salaam

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Dar Es Salaam, where you will connect to your international flight, concluding your unforgettable journey through Tanzania’s wildest wonders.
